Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Counseling services are provided to individuals (children and adults), families, or groups in all of our locations or can be provided in-home if there are special circumstances.
Counseling services include individual, family and group psychotherapy.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) -
psychotherapy that focuses on changing negative emotions, behaviors, and thoughts by challenging and uprooting negative or irrational beliefs. Discussions during therapy sessions are "solutions-oriented", the principal of CBT is that thoughts and perceptions influence behavior. Feeling distressed and/or anxious, in some cases, may distort one’s perception of reality. The focus of CBT is to identify self-defeating thoughts, assess whether they are rational, and, if they are not, apply strategies to challenge and overcome them.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy - Therapy modeled designed to help children work through trauma they have experienced, and reduce any anxiety or trauma symptoms. Caregivers participate and support their child during therapy.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) - Short-term cognitive behavioral therapy for adolescents and adults to assist them in decreasing symptoms of trauma, PTSD, and related conditions.
