SHINE: S-strengthen H-help I-inspire N-nurture E-empower - Mental Health
Hello! I am a graceful, imperfect person who loves helping people grow to reach their desired goals. Through therapy, I help adults by facilitating the healing process needed to recover from depression, anxiety, and trauma to live the life they want to live. I know that negative thoughts, feelings, and self-defeating behaviors can get in the way of us realizing our full potential. I also know we can have a new lease on life with adequate support, compassion, and insight. It is why I became a therapist. I believe in our power to transform and overcome the most minor mistakes into the most considerable obstacles. My training, education, and life experiences have given me deep insight and a unique ability to connect with others. I am committed to living purposefully and strive to help others manifest their desires.
I am a wife, married for over twenty years, and the mother of two young adults. For pleasure, I enjoy traveling, walking, playing with my dog (Benji), and shopping for shoes (smile). I am an Army veteran and a big advocate for social justice.
I am a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my experience includes working with youth, adults, and families focused on mood disorders (depression, anxiety, Bipolar II), behavior modification, interpersonal development, trauma, and substance abuse. My therapy approach is solution-focused, working towards your goals, and I utilize mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy treatment modalities to create change. Progress in therapy will depend on the work we do together during therapy sessions and the work you'll need to do outside of the session as a follow-through.
I recognize that it takes a great deal of courage and strength to ask for help. It is my honor to be of assistance. Thank you.
Hi! I'm Beckie, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist. I earned my bachelor's degrees in Medicinal Chemistry and Psychology from Syracuse University and then pursued my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College in Boston.
I am passionate about creating a space where anyone who enters, regardless of race, ethnic background, economic status, sexual orientation, or gender identity, can feel welcomed. My goal is to provide a safe and therapeutic space for you to express, process, and heal from life's difficulties and trauma.
I provide both individual and family therapies. I have experience working with a diverse range of ages, from early childhood through adolescence and adulthood. When working with children, I suggest and encourage parental involvement so that the child has consistent support outside of sessions. I will provide parents and families with therapeutic interventions, resources, education, and support.
My therapeutic practices draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Expressive Arts Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I believe an eclectic approach to therapy is important, as each individual has unique needs and experiences.
Hey, I'm Tierra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Some quick facts about me are that I like to travel, try different foods, and love anime. I offer a safe space where you can share the positives and negatives without judgment. And you can express your emotions and thoughts that you could not do otherwise in your daily life. Whether you feel you're in a good place but would like extra support or you feel many things are going wrong and don't know where to turn. I am here to assist you wherever you may be to listen, uplift, and motivate you. I specialize in working with veterans, young adults, and others experiencing relationship/friendship issues, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school, transitions in life, trauma, and life stressors. I aim to help you overcome any challenges you may be facing.
I believe each person is the expert of their own experience and carries inherent worth and internal resources that I am honored to witness as a therapist. I practice from the social model of disability and a neurodivergent-affirming, non-pathologizing paradigm, especially enjoying aiding autistic clients to validate and accommodate their authentic selves. As a queer person, I also enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients, including asexual, aromantic, bisexual, and trans/nonbinary clients.
I take an eclectic, holistic, trauma-informed approach while utilizing lived experience and evidence-based modalities to honor the best individual needs, including strategies from CBT, DBT, EFIT, and IFS. I love providing psychoeducation and connections to community resources, helping clients gain interpersonal stabilization to reduce the need for therapy. I see the therapeutic relationship as a co-creative, actively engaged process where I work to help a client seize power over their growth. I practice cultural humility and competence. I actively listen to diverse voices in the community to empathetically and sensitively help clients of all ethnicities, classes, abilities, beliefs, etc. It would be a privilege to meet you where you're at in your journey!

Greetings! I’ve studied a multitude of counseling approaches for individuals, marriage, and family systems. With over 15 years as a mental health provider, I understand the importance of destigmatizing mental health and embodying social justice practice by serving marginalized communities and families. Utilizing a collaborative, person centered treatment approach, I focus on developing healthy coping skills and providing psychoeducation on your personal difficulties. Additionally, I believe in creating a warm and attuned environment where you feel heard, accepted, and valued.
With a professional background in dance, I believe the body is a tool that can inform the mind and spirit. I practice with an eclectic approach to therapy integrating mindfulness, neuroscience, expressive arts and family systems, treating each client holistically and to their specific mental health needs. I have experience in treating disorders related to trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression.
I am passionate about working with you, regardless of your background, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation. Life doesn’t have to feel so challenging; you are not alone in this. Let’s connect, dialogue, and start your journey to healing. You deserve it, you are worthy.
Hello, I enjoy working with teens and adults, helping them manage the various stressors and anxieties in their lives. I also help couples and families navigate issues they may be experiencing together. By working together, we will be able to help you achieve your goals and work through the difficulties that come with your life. Always recognizing that clients are the experts of their own life experiences, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all my clients to promote self-exploration and healing, help them grow, and empower them on their life's journey.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar). As a queer therapist, I also enjoy working with clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, empowering them to explore and express their unique selves in every facet of their lives. I tailor therapy to each client's individual needs and goals centered around their lived experiences. I would absolutely love to grow with you and be a part of your journey.
Hi, I am a graduate of Walden University, where I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a dual specialization in Trauma and Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. As your counselor, I am passionate about helping clients find the inner strength they need to face all obstacles they may face in life. Depending on the needs of the clients, I may utilize Solution-focused Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or family systems therapy to help the clients reach their specific therapeutic goals. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and other mental health and life concerns. My role as a Counselor is to collaborate with my clients and work with them to solve their issues.
Deciding to seek out Mental Health support is not easy but can be very beneficial. Change is not easy, and along your journey, we may discuss aspects of your life that may be unpleasant or uncomfortable. If feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, shame, loneliness, or frustration begin to surface, we will process and work through the emotions together. There are no guarantees of what you will experience. For you to achieve the most benefit from counseling, you will have to be engaged in your therapy sessions, committed, and do work outside of therapy to meet your personal goals.
I enjoy working with clients motivated to work on the issues they see as having hurt their lives or issues that they feel are holding them back from living the life they want and having the relationships they want to have.
I offer virtual sessions only. I have experience working with depressive, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I have also worked with those needing help with anger management, coping skills, and parenting education. I have experience working with people with chronic diseases, including chronic kidney disease and HIV.
I believe, from personal and professional experience, that therapy can profoundly affect how satisfied and fulfilled we feel in our lives. Too often, we carry negative feelings and behaviors counterproductive to living our best life. With the right therapist and the desire to change, hope for a better life exists.
